The Erratic Bloggerette: I'm attracted to the contrast of traveling to far-flung places and to exploring the area I live in. It offers the best opportunities to open oneself up to the world while appreciating roots. Effra is a river running under the area where I live in London, hence the title of my blog. It's one of those urban streams almost totally concreted over, except for one spot in East Dulwich, not far from my home.
